Fun and Sun Camp - St. Petersburg, Fl. at Eckerd College

An all-inclusive program for students ages 10 to 16 who want to learn English while enjoying sunny St. Petersburg, the perfect location for beach lovers.

Supervised weekend trips feature visits to exciting theme parks such as Disney World®, Busch Gardens® and Universal Studios Florida®, where students can experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

Program Details:

  • Arrival dates: Sunday, June 24; Sunday July 1; Sunday July 8, 2018

  • Departure dates: Fluctuates depending upon program start & length; camp ends Saturday, July 21, 2018 (no late departures; all students must depart)

  • Program Duration 4 weeks, 3 weeks or 2 weeks (all bookings must be minimum of 2 weeks)

  • Course Curriculum General English practice with professional ELS instructors. TOEFL/SAT Prep elective available for Advanced students.

  • Accommodation Double occupancy on campus dormitory accommodation (separate facility from year round center); $50 cash key/damage deposit required upon check-in; returned upon check-out if keys are returned and no damage is assessed.

  • Meals Breakfast, lunch & dinner are included 7 days per week. Generally, meals are taken in the campus cafeteria. Boxed & catered meals are provided to accommodate activity schedule when necessary.

  • Students per class:  15

  • Lessons per week:  15 50-minute lessons per week, plus an additional daily 50-minute expansion activity.

  • Levels:  Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

Youth Camp & University Preparation Program

An all-inclusive program for students ages 10 to 16 who want to learn English in one our most exciting summer programs while enjoying the natural beauty and beaches of Malibu.  

University Prep Program: Ages 14 to 17 Program Dates Sunday, July 8 to Saturday, July 28, 2018 

An all-inclusive program for students ages 14 to 17 who want to improve their English language skills and get an introduction to the US university system in a camp-style program.

Universities Visited: – Loyola Marymount University – Pepperdine University – Santa Monica College – University of California – University of Southern California • Full social/cultural program included (some events are combined with the Malibu Youth Camp)

Program Details:

  • Excursions include but subject to change: Premium Outlet Shopping, Beach Trips, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Water Park, Universal Studios, Six Flags, LA City Tour, 3rd Street Promenade......and more.

Summer in New York

New York (Manhattan), New York, at The Juilliard School A program for young, independent learners ages 16+ who want to experience New York City’s limitless offerings – all while improving their English skills. Supervised weekend trips feature visits to exciting attractions such as the Museum of Natural History, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Coney Island, the Statue of Liberty, and theme parks like Six Flags® and more.

Program Details:

  • Ages 16+ (all attending students under the age of 18 must have parental waiver signed) Program Dates Sunday, July 15 to Saturday, August 4, 2018

  • Program Duration 3 weeks Location The Juilliard School, New York, New York

  • Available Levels Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced Lessons per Week Sixteen 50-minute lessons per week (M-Th); PLUS Friday academic field trips (all fees included)

  • Maximum Class Size 15 Course Curriculum General English practice with professional ELS instructors. Grammar and American Culture classes centered around New York City themes. Accommodation Double occupancy on campus dormitory accommodation

  • Meals Breakfast, lunch & dinner are included 5 days per week; 2 meals on the weekends. Generally, meals are taken in the campus cafeteria. Boxed & catered meals are provided to accommodate activity schedule when necessary.

  • Location The Lawrenceville School, Lawrenceville, New Jersey

  • Available Levels Intermediate & Advanced (ELS recommends level 104 or higher for participation)

  • Lessons per Week Fifteen 50-minute lessons per week; PLUS five weekly 50-minute expansion activities Maximum Class Size 15 Course Curriculum Specialized curriculum with focus on the American university system. Listening comprehension and note-taking for university lectures. TOEFL/SAT Prep included.

  • Accommodation Double & triple occupancy on campus dormitory accommodation

  • Meals Breakfast, lunch & dinner are included 7 days per week. Generally, meals are taken in the campus cafeteria. Boxed & catered meals are provided to accommodate activity schedule when necessary.

  • Airport Transfers Roundtrip airport transfers from Newark International Airport (EWR) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) included. (Services cannot be provided from JFK; students would need to make their own arrangements)
